SOLID PAVEMENT SUPPORT
The pads use an aluminum support whose lugs for the clutch basket have a large contact area. This makes the pads very stable over the long term. The slow shearing off of the plates that often occurs with conventional linings with steel carriers is completely eliminated by the large contact surface. The clutch is also more thermally resistant due to the aluminum. This is a great advantage in extreme situations (e.g. starting with a lot of load on a steep pass road), but also offers a reassuring reserve in everyday life. The lug width is manufactured to fit exactly whereby the pads are almost free of play in the basket.
DURABLE AND GRIPABLE pad material
The BGM PRO TOURING aluminum pads are made of the same high-quality sintered material as the CR80 racing pads. Due to the larger contact surface in the TOURING version, however, the clutching is softer and not aggressive. The large contact area also improves durability.
FULLY COMPATIBLE
The BGM PRO TOURING alloy clutch facings are designed as a 1:1 replacement for conventional standard clutch facings. They harmonize perfectly with the standard steel discs.
The thickness of the pad pack is the same as the original, eliminating the need to use shims or spacers.
